The Phase 4 Assignment – the Self Assessment Essay, largely speaks for itself. I reviewed the work I did this year, the many units covered in the course, and drew together a small thesis on my progress. I still believe I have a lot to work on, but the insight this course has given me, especially in regards to my driving philosophy towards language, has been incredibly valuable. Realizing my own voice is a slow process, but continuously upkeeping my knowledge of the fundamentals of principled writing is, without a doubt, an accelerant in my evolution as a writer.
